National History Day — Winner

Firebird student Iago Macknik-Conde won the National History Day competition for Sharing the Stage, an original short play he developed through the Firebird program.

Improv Fledglings — UnScripted Shakespeare Festival

Firebird's Improv Fledglings ensemble performed at the UnScripted Shakespeare Festival for two consecutive years — sharing the bill with adult improv teams in one of NYC's premier improv showcases.
